Good Friday

This Good Friday morning I went on the CrossWalk in town.  It started at MUMC with stops in between, and ended at another church about a mile away.  At each stop scripture was read about the events leading up to and Jesus' trial.

Lent Reading

For the past two years I have given up reading fiction novels for Lent.  I did so again this year, along with Facebook.

One of my sisters had read an article of a family who came out of Mormonism, and the mother wrote a book.  I found that I could get a copy of her book through a library participating in the NC Cardinal library system, so I checked it out to read.  Very, very interesting.

Another outstanding book (also through NC Cardinal) that I read was Laura Story's When God Doesn't Fix It.

We then headed across the street to the Davidson Public Library.

Spring Break - Day trip to Concord, NC

Redbuds along the interstate.

Our first stop was Gibson Mill.  This building houses many businesses as well as The Depot, an antique mall.

One of the booths my sister wanted to look at was in the Cotton Room.

I had a BLT with a side of macaroni salad.

J had a Reuben Sandwich.
